Stash buster

One of the things that became evident during my tidy up was that I had a large bag of bits of wool so I decided to make something with them.

It's a large crochet basket.

I tied all my bits together and then crochet in dc, using two threads, one white, the other my coloured ball of bits.  Still to finish off, but it will be grand for organising  my latest WIP.

Thank you to my friend Lisa for the idea.

    1. I've got a large collection of bits that are from 1 to 2 inches long. Any ideas would be welcome

  3. Great idea very nicely done! Maybe the birds would like the odd little bits of yarn to help with their nesting - so long as they're not long enough for them to tangle their little feet in! Also handy for stuffing little toys?

    1. Thank you for the ideas. By the way I finished the parrot pattern last night. One of my friends will test it for me and then I will let it fly free.
