Upcycling, gardening : contentment

It's been a great bank holiday Monday, just spent the day pleasing myself.

One curtain and a duvet cover, from a charity shop and a relative.

With a sewing machine and some interfacing, Are now

An ironing board cover

And a laundry bag.

Feeling refreshed ventured out into the garden, planted my courgette plants 

and weeded in the flower bed.

Time for a cup of coffee and a bit of hooky time

Day complete.

New blanket

I've been working on a new blanket. Warm weather has now arrived so thoughts turning to cotton instead. Looking for an interesting pattern for a top.

 

I'm getting frustrated by not being able to use my usual method of adding photos via picassa web, but I'll get used to this new way in the end.
